Food Delivery are givien out on the first Wednesday of the month, 9:00am-12:00pm. Volunteers arrive at 8:00am to set up.

Grants are available through the District to Support your ministry goals:
The Pacific Southwest District is blessed with resources to offer a variety of grants or partnership funds to help your church grow in their ministry. Below are just a few of the kinds offered, and you can learn more by visiting here at the district website.
Jesus in the Neighborhood - Churches can request up to two $500 grants each year to assist and encourage congregations to try something that will share Jesus in your community with relationship-based neighborhood engagement. A recent grant will support a church doing "Taco Sundays" over the next few months to meet their neighbors. What's your idea?
Ministry Partnership Funds - These funds can allow the district to partner with you, either in getting coaching or training for a group from your congregation, or launching a new ministry idea, or mission church grants that support churches in high poverty areas.
If you have an idea, reach out to Russ and we will see how we might partner as you share the good news in your community.
District Conference 2025 - November 7 & 8, 2025 in La Verne:
Join us at the La Verne Church of the Brethren on Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8, as we gather for worship, fellowship, workshops and business. The theme for the conference is The fruit of the Spirit is peace / El fruto del Espíritu es la paz. Joining us for a keynote session will be Matt Guynn, co-Executive Director of On Earth Peace, and there will also be several workshops to choose from during the afternoon.
The Program Committee is encouraging churches to offer a study of the book Practicing the Prayer of St. Francis as a way of engaging with the conference theme. Churches were sent a copy of the book in late May, and a Spanish translation will be available in early June.
The Friday Professional Growth event is for ministers and members of congregations to attend. Our presenter is Mitch Marcello who will lead us in Ministry at the Edge: Unlocking the Creative Church. Look for more information in the weeks ahead, but plan now to be a part of your church's team.
Individual registration will begin in September, but you can make hotel reservations any time. Later this month congregations will receive information on credentialing delegates and paying the congregational fee.
